[Class 6 (ii).] A delivery plate a for lawn-mowers and analogous machines is formed on its concave surface with a plurality of slanting ribs f so as to deflect cut grass into the centre of a grass box. The height of each rib f may vary progressively along its length to a maximum at the top of the plate a. Alternatively, the height of each rib may remain constant along its length, and the edges of the ribs be parallel to the curved surface of the plate. Side members e are provided and a cutter blade b is fixed to the underside. The plate a is rotatably mounted on a cross-member by means of lugs and its position is adjusted by a screw passing through a lug at the back.
