Abstract
371,288. Changing signs. BODENHAGEN, E. L. O., 4, G1. Kongevej, Copenhagen. Oct. 30, 1931, No. 30137. [Class 3 (i).] In signs of the type having prisms mounted one above the other upon parallel vertical spindles within a frame so as to form rows, the vertical faces of the prisms bearing symbols, designs, &c., the prisms 2 are rotated simultaneously by mechanism comprising cranks 5 on the spindles 3. The cranks 5 are coupled by a rod 6 mounted on crank pins 7 on two pinions 8 geared together by an endless chain 9. One pinion 8 is carried by a shaft 10 driven by a pinion 11 and chain 12 connected to an electric or a wind motor. The spindles 3 may comprise filament or neon lamps, which may be coloured. The prism faces may consist of removable panels.
