369,515. Walls, partitions, or surface facings. TSCHAN, G. and WASMER, E., Riehen, near Basle, Switzerland. Aug. 27, 1931, No. 24160. [Class 20 (iv).] In a partition, wall, or surfacef a c i n g therefor built up of slabs of plaster, cement, &c. the slabs are formed with marginal recesses which register to form a groove in which a butt strip or band is secured to cover the joint. The slabs a may be connected by keys b and recesses c, and the groove is lined with a strip g of strong canvas secured by adhesive, the groove being then filled with plaster h. By these means the tendency to crack at the joints is lessened.
