Abstract
368,674. Ladders. CORNELOUP, L., 31, Rue du Petit Musc, Paris. Oct. 30, 1931, No. 30139. Convention date, Nov. 12, 1930. [Class 20 (ii).] A folding stepladder is formed with the two sides 1, 2, and a rear support 11 pivoted together at the top, and the rungs pivoted to slides 4, 5 contained within the hollow sides. The slide 4 on one side is continuous but on the other is formed of sections 5 connected by springs 7, adjacent ends of the sections being adapted to abut when the ladder is in the expanded position. The slides are retained in the sides by metal covering strips 3.
