364,829. Doors. TRIGGS, W. W., 57, Lincoln's Inn Fields, London.-(Camel Co. ; 332, South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, U.S.A.) Jan. 1, 1931, . No. 48. [Class 103 (iv).] A sliding door 2 is adapted to be raised from a track 4 in order that the door may be moved by means including guides 15 secured to the door in which slide holding members 12 having rollers 3 journalled therein and having their upper ends 16a formed as journals for an operating member 22. In one form, two rollers mounted in this manner are situated at the bottom corners of the door 2. Rotation of a handle 26 secured to the member 22 which is carried in elongated holes in brackets 28 secured to the door causes teeth 19 carried by sleeves 18 secured to the member 22 to engage ribs 20 on the brackets 15 and raise anglemember 8 of the door 2 clear of the track. The door is held in any desired position by friction between the angle-member 8 and the track member 4 and the bottom of the door is prevented from swinging outwards by the upturned end 36 of the holding-member 12 which engages a flange 5 on the track 4. The rollers 3 may be provided with roller bearings and latching means may be provided for holding the door closed or in a predetermined open position.
