360,676. Lamp shades. JONES, E., Strathmore, Southam Road, Hall Green, Birmingham, STUBBS, S. P., Weston Croft, New Road, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, and WATTON, E. V., Wood End, Upper St. Mary's Road, Bearwood, Birmingham. Nov. 11, 1930, No. 33891. [Class 75 (ii).] A lamp shade comprises a plurality of. glass panels 11. having in their opposite side edges cutaway parts or notches 11a which are engaged by tongue-like parts 12a on the supporting framework 12 on which they are mounted. The framework 12 is of triangular, square, hexagonal or other polygonal form. The tongues 12a are formed at each corner either by slitting and pressing out parts as shown, or by attaching members by soldering, or by 'using members 13 of,.paper-fastener shape as shown in Fig. 7. When the shade is used with an electric light, it is attached by chains to a ring with perforated lugs. When the shade is used with a gas light furnished with the usual globe, the framework 12 is provided with U-shaped links 16, Fig. 8, the ends of which pass through holes 12d in earpieces 12e on the framework, the globe-fixing screws 18 passing through the links. A number of the improved shades may be supported one above the other by chains in tierlike disposition.
