Abstract
A bearing-metal consists of a copper-silicon-zinc alloy containing 65-80 per cent of copper and 2,6 per cent of silicon, with or without 0,1-3 per cent of tin. An example consists of 76 per cent of copper, 20 per cent of zinc, 3 per cent of silicon, and 1 per cent of tin. Specification 352,639 is referred to. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 350,889.
