Abstract

Bells are made of copper-silicon alloys containing up to 6 per cent of silicon, with or without the addition of about 1 per cent of tin, or up to 20 per cent of zinc, or both. An example contains 81 per cent of copper, 4,5 per cent of silicon, 0,5 per cent of tin, and 14 per cent of zinc.
