357,796. Centrifuges. WIESNER, J., Nestemice, Czecho-Slovakia. Oct. 3, 1930, No. 29661. Addition to 352,619. [Class 23.] A centrifuge 4 for refining raw sugar has a spreading or spraying tray 1 for the sugar introduced. The tray is mounted on the rod 2 and may be moved up and down by a two-armed lever 6, 7. A delivery bend 10 is mounted above the tray and sugar is fed from a funnel 12 on to an endless band 11. Instead of the tray, a trough 13, Fig. 3, open at the top and at its side facing the wall of the centrifuge may be used, or a trough which is inclined in a direction towards the bottom of the centrifuge with -its end bent approximately horizontally may be used.
