356,365. Manifolding sheets &c. PRESSCARBON GES., 19, Jagerstrasse, Berlin. July 4, 1930, No. 20349. Convention date, Feb. 20. [Class 16.] Writing sheets are temporarily united together or to carbon sheets by means of patches 13 of adhesive material provided on the back of the original sheets, or on one or both sides of the duplicate and carbon sheets. The adhesive may be waxes, soaps, colloids, or fatty-acid derivatives applied as solutions in alcohol &c., and is preferably a wax or the like softening at the temperature of the hand but hard at ordinary room temperature. The sheets may be impregnated locally with glue, dextrin, &c., before applying the adhesive, to prevent the latter from forming transparent patches. In the case of carbon sheets, the patches are applied in spaces not coated with colour composition.
