[Class 96.] Scraper blades a for doctors of paperdrying drums and the like are formed with the part extending from the outer edge of the clamping-device c to the edge coacting with the drum b of curved section. The degree of curvature is preferably so chosen that the arc of contact with the drum is approximately equal in Length to the thickness of the blade. The greater stability of the curved blade makes it possible to reduce the thickness and the increased springiness obtained thereby gives a better cleaning effect.
