Bending.-The casing of a carpetsweeper comprises a fibre board shell 1 having an inner tough lining 10 and outer finishing sheet 11, the shell being bent by means of a wedgeshaped knife, or set of knives, which forms V shaped creases, as shown, and smooths over the edges of the sheet 11.
