Abstract
354,290. Conduits. LIGNES T•L•- GRAPHIQUES ET T•L•PHONIQUES, 26, Rue de la PÚpiniÞre, Paris. Feb. 1, 1930, No. 3517. Convention date, May 1, 1929. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Addition to 354,287. [Class 36.] In a method of laying cables in multiduct conduits, the cables are installed in separate ducts and are carried by small insulating supports in the manner described in the parent Specification. As shown in Fig. 2, a concrete conduit 1 is formed with two ducts adapted to receive cables 4. In order to close each duct hermetically after the cable has been laid, a filling compound 6 is introduced and a cover-plate 5 placed in position, as shown. The conduit is closed by a concrete cover 2. In order to permit the superposition of metallic conduits as shown in Fig. 3, the cover 7 of the lower conduit and the bottom 8 of the upper conduit are correspondingly shaped. The filling compound 6 may be omitted from some of the ducts.
