Abstract

353,751. Watches. WILSDORF, H., 18, Rue du MarchÚ, Geneva, Switzerland. Sept. 4, 1930, No. 26451. [Class 139.] Keyless mechanism.-In a watch without a pendant a free sleeve 5, housed in a recess 8 of the winding crown 3, is pressed down on to the case 2 by a spring 6 ; flanges 12, 13 on sleeve 5 and crown 3 prevent the sleeve fully leaving the recess 8. The winding stem 1 is screwed into the tube 7 of the crown. In two modifications this tube 7 is omitted and the stem 1 is screwed into, or bolted to, the crown proper. The outer surface of sleeve 5 may be non-cylindrical.
