Abstract

352,493. Signs. JAGO, E. G., 39, Devonshire Street, Queen Square, London. April 4, 1930, Nos. 10746 and 15621. [Class 3 (ii).] A flat sign rendered luminous by reflected or transmitted light comprises a stencil a, a translucent reflector d, and a translucent diffusing screen e. The reflector mav consist of unbacked silvered glass or silvered glass having translucent areas formed by removing the reflecting material and its backing ; or the reflector may be perforated. A protective coating of varnish or the like on the reflector may be used instead of, or in addition to, the diffusing screen. The reflector mav be composed of a number of overlapping strips. Two such signs may be arranged on opposite sides of a box containing a source of light such as an electric lamp. Reference. has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 301,686, [Class 3 (ii), Advertising &c. other than by moving &c.l.
