Abstract

350,707. Moulding concrete pipes &c. BARR, J. F., Killineer House, Drogheda, Co. Louth, Ireland. May 30, 1930, No. 16749. Convention date, Oct. 9, 1929. [Class 87 (ii).] Reinforced concrete pipes &c. are made by charging the material into the space between a mould 2 and a core 3 and tamping the material by an annular stamp 1 built up of sectors which are independently and resiliently mounted by rods 6 and springs 8, in a common driving ring 5. The ring 5 and the sectors of the stamp are provided with holes to permit the passage of the reinforcing rods.
