Abstract
346,505. Firebars. EVANS, G. F. and EVANS, M. J., 49, Replingham Road, Wandsworth, London. May 15, 1930, No. 4172. [Class 51 (i).] In a firebar in which the top surface is formed by narrow lugs b which are transversely disposed on the edge of a downwardly tapering supporting body a and are carried some distance down the sides of the latter, the end faces of the lugs being substantially parallel to the sides of the supporting body, the end faces of the lugs are formed with grooves c which are in line at their deepest parts with the sides of the supporting body a, except at the top of the lugs, where the grooves taper to a point. More than one groove may be provided in each face.
