Abstract
346,056. Flooring and paving slabs. PARSONS, J., Yew Tree Lane, Blackheath, near Birmingham. Jan. 21, 1930, No. 2021. [Class 87 (ii).] A slab with a non- slipping surface for floors, steps, pavements &c. is formed by moulding a plastic mixture round a sheet - metal reinforcing blank a to which are secured prior to moulding a plurality of rubber blocks e whose upper surface will be substantially flush with the surface of the finished slab. The blank carries upwardly-projecting prongs c which grip the rubber blocks, downwardlyprojecting lugs d to locate it relatively to bottom of the mould, and lateral projections f to position it relative to the walls of the mould.
