Abstract
342,118. Display boxes. SHARPE, Ltd., W. N., Longside Lane, Bradford, and FAULKNER, P., Harlow Oval, Harrogate, both in Yorkshire. Jan. 22, 1930, No. 2171. [Class 18.] A display box has a flexible sliding lid L made of scored cardboard &c. S mounted on linen or the like L<1>; the inner or rear end of the lid is covered with glazed paper to reduce friction. The lid slides in grooves L<2> in the sides of the box and around a curved stay piece L<3> leading to grooves L4 formed between the bottom B<1> of the box and a false bottom B<2> supporting a partitioned drawer D. The upper part of the box may be divided into a series of inclined trays T and pockets P particularly adapted for containing cards and envelopes ; the bottoms and/or the tops of the pockets may be inclined.
