Abstract

339,033. Salter, G. Sept. 27, 1929. Folding seats.-In a spring-actuated tip-up seat, each spring is of helical form with arms E<1>, E<2> secured to the frame C and seat A respectively, and is so arranged as to tilt the seat upwards and then cushion it during the latter parts of its motion. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 8903/94, 171,068, 241,095 and 271,651.
