Detachable wheels.-The detachable hub 1 is formed with a coned portion 2 having serrations &c. 3 to engage corresponding driving formations on a ring 4 which may be a separate stamping or may be integral with the brake-drum. The permanent hub is threaded to receive the securing nut, the threads being right-hand and lefthand on the near-side and off-side wheels, respectively.
