Abstract

335,109. Parrier, G. Nov. 11, 1929. Addition to 303,854. Skein-holders and swifts; creel arrangements.- The skein-holder described in the parent Specification is modified in that an internal boss U, Fig. 3, is formed on the rim B and provided with a screw C whereby the rim B and disc A may be locked in any desired position. The limbs D, Fig. 1, are secured to the disc A by members d, riveted or screwed thereto, and passing through eyes e formed in the ends of the limbs. The ends d<1> of the members d do not project beyond the surface of the disc and therefore do not impede the passage of adjacent limbs. The brake acting on the spindle L comprises a spring plate N<1>, Fig. 4, and a leather strip Y, the latter being gripped on the spindle L by means of a tightening screw Z.
