Abstract
332,430. Heide, H. C. May 6, 1929, [Convention date]. Addition to 327,719. Screw propellers.- The stream line body placed aft of and in the cavitation space behind a screw propeller according to the parent Specification is supported from the ship's hull by arms of plane form. The arm 2, Fig. 2, is of flat stream line form and supports the anti-cavitation member 1, from which a further plane 2' may project. In a modification the arm and projection, Fig. 3, may have sections of hydrofoil form set to act as counter propeller blades. The member 1 may be additionally supported by an extension of the propeller shaft.
