332,236. Watts, T. H. J. April 9, 1929. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Optical-projection apparatus.- The rays from two or more sources of illumination are combined by means of plane mirrors and lenses to produce a single beam by which the picture is illuminates. The light from arc lamps A, B is incident on mirrors C, D, angularly disposed, to reflect the rays into the condenser L and the projection lens M. The arc lamps may be provided with reflectors for concentrating the light, and a divergent lens may be situated between the condenser L and the lens M to reduce the angle of the convergent beam through the condenser. The reflectors may be arranged in the form of a pyramid to combine the light of a lumber of lamps.
