Multiple-way lift valves.-A multiple-way valve arrangement, for example a mixing valve for hot and cold water, is characterized in that sliding lift stoppers or valve members g<3>, h<3> controlling inlets g<1>, h<1> to a casing d a.re closed positively against their seatings g<2>, h<2> by a rotary cam a. The shape of the cam is such that both inlets may be closed simultaneously by the parts a<1>, a<2>, or either opened with the other closed, as shown, or both opened. The valves may be opened by fluid pressure, aided, if desired, by springs, or the valves may have headed parts sliding in grooves in the edge of the cam. The valves may also be arranged for actuation by the under face, instead of the edge, of the cam.
