Guiding endless belts; guards and shields to prevent f a lling-off and spilling.-The belt 1 is supported by curved anti-spillage shelves 5 which extend inwardly from the side plates 2. The shelves have plane marginal portions extending downwardly and obliquely beneath the belt.
