278,899. Rankine, D., Ross, J. W. H., and Lennard, T. C., Nov. 6, 1926. Flat endless belt conveyers ; guiding.-A flat endless belt conveyer or elevator comprises a belt 11, Fig. 4, made in one length, or connected sections, and overlapping side troughing plates 7. Fig. 3, connected together in pairs by cross-liars 10 upon which the belt rests and to which it is secured. The plates 7 have inwardly-extending lugs 8 which are secured to the bars 10 and raise the edges of the belt. The belt is secured at intervals to axles 14., Fig. 5, having end rollers 15 which run on an angle iron track 16 and brackets 18 supporting rollers 17 which retain the axles at right-angles to the track. The axles are provided with side plates 7<b> to form part of the troughing. Specification 278,126 is referred to.
