Abstract

329,754. Wilkie, W., and Wilkie, W. March 25, 1929. Ironing-presses.-The press head A and buck B are formed of pressed steel plates of various shapes and sizes and a.re fixed respectively by detachable pins L', H to the head lever L and brackets G<1> on the stationary frame E so as to be readily replaceable for pressing garments of various sizes and design. The plates are welded together and are spaced by studs C to form a steam heating chamber, whilst steam may be passed through an outer perforated plate to the garment. Pins I limit the swinging movement of the buck.
