Laminated wood. - Laminated material for making the sounding boards of musical instruments, or for other purposes, comprises sheets of wood or metal united by sheets of celluloid partially dissolved to make them adhesive. The wood or iron sheets are assembled with the celluloid sheets while immersed in a solvent, the composite sheet being then subjected to pressure and heat.
