Abstract

Ventilators.-An automatic ventilating device comprises two independent vertical flaps e adapted to be, opened or closed on vertical axes f by the difference in pressure on the two sides of the flaps, and means, operable from the floor of the space, being ventilated, are provided for limiting the opening movement of the flaps. The naps e are mounted at one end of a casing c which may be arranged in the, wall of a chimney, and the limiting means consists of a spring-controlled member g which is adjustable in a slot c<2> by means of a cord or chain i. The device g may be employed to prevent opening of the flaps. A cover d having radial openings may be provided at one end of the casing.
