Abstract

324,301. Krantz, M. May 2, 1929. Coverings for protecting wearing-apparel from dust.-In a bag for storing furs, wearing apparel &c. and having a mouth adapted to be closed by hinged metal frame members a, b, which are pressed tightly together by clips when the bag is closed, a continuous fabric to fabric joint is made at the mouth to admit air, but to exclude dust from, the bag. To form the joint a strip of material g is sewn in between the fabric e of the bag and an inner strip of material f, the strips as a whole being secured to the frame members a, b by rivets h arranged at a distance from the top edge of the strips. The articles are suspended in the bag from an apertured plate secured to the member a and the bag itself may be suspended by a swivelling hook l adapted also to be turned in the plane of its length to a position beside the frame members. Loops k on the frame member a may receive a padlock to prevent unauthorised opening.
