Abstract

323,652. Meynell, H. Jan. 14, 1929. Poultry houses.-The usual droppings board is replaced by an endless band of flexible material c to which are attached strips c<1> of wood or other material adapted to engage in recesses in wheels or pulleys d over which the band passes. The band may be moved by a handle h secured to a shaft c carrying one set of the wheels d. This shaft also carries chain wheels driving an adjustable rotary brush s and an endless band z distributing sand from a hopper x on to the band c. An adjustable scraper u is provided to loosen droppings on the band. The tension of the chain is adjustable.
