Abstract
262,347. Jenkins, D. July 5, 1926. Hand-scrapers.-A scraper for attachment to a broom comprises a metal plate 4 the bottom edge of which is slit and bent to hold a detachable strip 7 of wood, rubber, asbestos composition, or other material. Each side of the plate may be provided with a pivoted locking-plate 8, as shown in Fig. 5, to assist in securing the strip 7 in position. In a modified form of scraper. the metal plate, in addition to having itself a scraping edge, is provided with a bent plate forming a second scraper.
