322,266. Gibson, F., (trading as Gibson & Co., F.). Sept. 20, 1928. Shades, silk, paper, and like.-A table or other r lampshade which can be packed flat for storage or transport comprises flat sections a of imitation parchment, paper, or like translucent or transparent material having a multiplicity of lacing holes b at their edges by which they may be laced together by means of raffia, fibre, or other lacing material c to give the desired shape. All the sections may be of the same shape, and the material may or may not be ornamented. The shade may be supported by means of a ring d laced to the upper edges of the sections and provided with an inner ring for engaging over an electric lamp holder, whilst the lower edge may also be laced at f, with or without a lower ring.
