321,960. Royle, G. T. F., and Mellor, J. Aug. 22, 1928. Screw stoppers.-Relates to paper &c. lids for cartons, of the type having a beading or screwthread on the flanges thereof. A flanged cap D of treated paper is provided with a single helical rib or groove D<2> near the free edge of its flange, so that when sprung on to the carton it will engage therewith, without more than a partial turn being necessary. The carton &c. A is provided with a similar rib or groove C for engagement with the cap.
