Abstract

Coiled-tube superheaters ; moderating superheat.-Steam is led into the inlet header C of a. coiled-tube superheater placed in the path of the gases from a boiler furnace through a vertical pipe B, which prevents pulsations between the superheater and the boiler, and boiler water is conducted into the header through a tube, E to temper the superheat. The steam main D' is connected to .the boiler steam space, by a tube F in which is a non-return valve F<1> allowing steam to flow from the main to the boiler.
