Abstract
320,717. Mason, G. B., and Moreton, W. Aug. 22, 1928. Drying in the open.-In apparatus for drying clothes by means of hot air under pressure a plurality of means is provided for selectively attaching clothes of different sizes to the apparatus. A plate a has a central opening c for hot air, and has a number of concentric flanges b. Arcuate clamps l, associated with each flange, are secured to a bar e, sliding in brackets k, and held in the retracted position by a pivoted handle p. A conical wire mesh frame h, supporting a garment, is placed over one of the flanges to which it is secured by a clamp under the action of a spring o. Two sets of clamps are provided. A spring band may be used with the outer flange, the outer clamps being dispensed with. Specification 304,877 is referred to.
