Window frames. - The rubber lining for the channels or guides of sliding windows is made by extrusion through a die in the shape which it is to have in use, a channel or groove 1 being formed near or at the corner, as shown, to facilitate coiling the guide in a flat condition for storing &c. The lining is covered with material such as velvet on its inner surface and the velvet extends over the outer edges and may be housed in rabbets or recesses shown in dotted lines.
