Abstract
314,736. Kleinhans, P. Oct. 11, 1928. Movable -abutment type; adjusting parts for wear.-In a rotary pump having at least three pistons a driven at relatively variable speeds by an ecentric shaft c having arms b sliding in the pistons, the inner boundary of the annular chamber in which the pistons move is formed by a ring f which rotates with the pistons, being slotted to permit the relative motion of the arms b by a varying one of which it is driven. For high speeds the outer boundary of the annular chamber may be formed by a freely rotatable inner casing member d mounted on a stub shaft which is. adjustable by a set screw g to take up wear.
