Abstract

314,675. Walker, Hunter & Co., Ltd., and Walker, J. July 2, 1928. Binding - posts; terminals, mounting.- Connection is made between a heating resistance 2 and a lead 9 by means of a strip 7, the resistance wire being passed through a hole 6 in the former and connected to one end of the strip by threading the wire through the strip which is then folded thereon and compressed. The strip 7 is then passed through a lug 3 on the rear of the former 1, the folded end being drawn tightly into a recess 5 in the lug and retained therein by bending the strip at right angles against the opposite side of the lug. The other end of the strip is folded and the lead 9 inserted in the fold is secured by a bolt 11.
