Tank carts.-In tank vehicles of the kind in which the tanks are strapped to wooden chocks carried by transverse channels on the chassis the straps S are hinged at S<2> to one end of the channel C and secured at the other by a bolt &c. S' while the wooden chocks B are stayed by tubes F which are in staggered relationship with one another. The tubes F are provided with flanges G, G' the flanges G' being double ones and the tubes F are secured by screwed rods or the tubes may pass through the chocks. The straps S may be hinged in sections.
