Abstract
313,951. Oesterreichische Dynamit Nobel Akt.-Ges. June 20, 1928, [Convention date]. Blasting fuzes.-In order to protect electric fuzes from stray currents, the lead-in wires of each individual fuze 1 are shortcircuited by a wire connection 8, which remains in place until all the fuzes have been connected up in series or parallel or partly in series and partly in parallel, and the whole is ready to be fired, when the wire connections 8 are broken or cut, or are pulled off by means of a wire from a safe distance. Additional security may be had by a known short-circuit 6 at the mains 5, which short-circuit is broken in a known way by a pull on a line 7. Specifications 241,796 and 259,945 are referred to.
