Abstract
313,890. Deutsche Gasgluhlicht- Auer-Ges. June 18, 1928, [Convention date]. Refrigerating, absorption machines for. - The condenser 2 and generator-absorber 1 of a reversing machine including an evaporator 3 are cooled by a definite quantity of a liquid which boils be. low the highest temperature of the machine. The cooling of the generator-absorber is effected by allowing the liquid to circulate through a coil 5 therein connected to an air-cooled tank 4, under the control of a magnetically-actuated valve 6, which may be ccntrolled by a thermostat. A mixture of a volatile liquid with water may be used. The tank 4 may be provided with cooling ribs.
