313,136. Lyons, A. C. June 7. 1928, [Convention date]. Attaching wringers to washing-machines; driving - gear f o r wringers.-In a powerdriven washing - machine having a vertically-extending shaft on which is pivotally mounted a head C through which a wringer may be driven. The wringer frame J is removably secured to the head and locking means K are provided to maintain it in operative engagement with the head when assembled- The lower bar I of the wringer frame is received in a tubular horizontal member B of the head C and a lug 0 projecting from the frame is received in an aperture in a lug b<1> integral with the horizontal member B. A universal joint E connects the shaft of the bottom roller with the driven shaft of the head C.
