[The subject-matter of this Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, March 29, 1929]. Endless-track vehicles. - An endless track n, Fig. 1, passing over a road wheel g and rollers k, l is supported by means of a lever c pivoted at b to the chassis frame and connected at the rear end to the axle spring f and at the other end by a link h to a bent lever i carrying the rollers. The lever i is pivoted on a radius rod m hinged at t to the axle casing. The rear end of the spring f is free to move along a guide u. The pivot b of the lever c is adjustable in a bracket a to vary the load on the rollers. For running on roads the track n is removed, as shown in Fig. 3, the pivot of the lever c is raised to the position b<1> and the rear end of the spring f is fixed by means of a bolt o, thus raising the rollers k, l from the ground. Alternatively, the rollers may be removed.
