Guards.-A guard for shafts and like revolving parts comprises a one-piece split tube a of cardboard, millboard, &c., slightly larger in diameter than the shaft &c. b, over which it is sprung into place. The slit may, but need not, be fastened by clips, adhesive fabric, &c.
