Abstract
306,092. Roser, E. Feb. 15, 1928, [Convention date]. Materials for making coke.-In the manufacture of a hard low temperature coke the dry fuel e.g. brown coal, peat, dust coal or slime coal, is mixed with wet bituminous fuel such as coal, the loose mixture being rammed into a retort and distilled of about 600‹ C., forming large pieces of coke having a high volatile content. Coke resulting from the distillation of brown coal or peat may be mixed with the wet bitumen-containing fuel, e.g. an equal amount of wet coal. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 193,061, 195,711 and 288,235.
