When closed, the boards are housed within the turntable, and when extended may be held rigid with the turntable or may have rollers engaging the ground or a concentric track. The boards may be hinged or hooked to the table, or may be connected by a slide joint. Inverted T-irons B carried by the table A receive the ends F of arms E carrying the boards D and provided with projections G resting on top of the irons B. The boards are shown extended on the right of the Figure and closed on the left.
