Abstract
367,362. Film racks. MUSAPHIA, G., Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London.- (Du Pont Vitacolor Corporation; Pacific Finance Building, Los Angeles, U.S.A.) Nov. 17, 1930, No. 34562. [Class 98 (ii).] A rack, more especially for use in treating double-coated film stock, comprises end members 1, Fig. 1, between which extend supports 4 having notches or curved recesses for supporting the film 7 at its edges only, and pins 3 for separating the convolutions. The notched bars 4 may rest on bars 4 which are connected to the side members 1 and carry the pins 3. Or two diverging bars 4, Fig. 3, may be angularly supported on the bars 2 fitted centrally with the pins 3. A drum construction, Fig. 4 (not shown), comprises a concentric series of notched bars 5 carrying pins 3, and mounted between endplates.
