Abstract
303,177. Forstmann, A. Dec. 30, 1927, [Convention date]. Repeating and amplifying systems.-In a thermionic amplifier for wireless or telephone transmission systems, arranged to compensate for distortion previous or subsequent to passage of signals through the amplifier, the external impedance in the anode circuits of potential amplification stages at frequencies to be favoured, is equal to four times the internal impedance of the valves which are preferably of the high amplification type'. Resonances are avoided. Compensation for subsequent distortion may be effected at the input end of a telephone cable.
